Waterloo police are looking for a suspect in a weekend shooting spree that left a woman dead, and a man injured. The shootings occured outside a home on Waterloo’s east-side early Sunday morning. Bullets sprayed the outside of a the house and also struck the windshield of a car parked across the street. Police say 23-year-old Thyanna Parsons was injured in the shooting spree, and died a short time later. Authorities believe she was an innocent by-stander. Also hurt in the shooting was 18-year-old Dorondis Cooper, who’s being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital. The state medical examiner has classified parson’s death as a homicide. The investigation is continuing.
