A north-central Iowa man’s jailed on counterfeiting charges. A North Iowa man’s been arrested on several felony forgery charges after an investigation into a counterfeit currency operation. 31-year-old Dean Thomas Felt was arrested by police with a search warrant for his Lake Mills apartment. The officers say they seized about 74-hundred dollars in fake currency while they were there. Felt will also face several federal charges in the ongoing investigation, and the U.S. Secret Service joined the Iowa D-C-I and sheriff’s departments from Winnebago County and from south-central Minnesota.
