Pilot error has been tabbed as the cause of a fatal plane crash near Orange City last year. The pilot, 51-year-old Wesley Huisman of Orange City, and his passenger, 51-year-old Wayne Keizer of Mesa, Arizona, died in the crash. Huisman’s small plane went down in a farm field six miles northeast of Orange City on October 3, 2003.
