A manhunt in Wapello County on Thursday netted a crook — 25-year-old Kristopher Crook of Ottumwa is now jailed. The sheriff’s department got a call about a dangerous situation between Ottumwa and Agency on Highway 34 as one car was reportedly ramming another. Authorities found bullet holes in one vehicle which was being driven by a woman whose live-in boyfriend was reportedly in the other car. That second vehicle was found abandoned and a search began. About six hours later, Crook was arrested on charges including intimidation with a dangerous weapon and domestic assault.
