The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the death of a man whose body was found along Interstate 80 in Adair County early this morning. Authorities began receiving 9-1-1 calls about a person who had apparently been struck by a vehicle, just before Four-a.m. The unidentified man’s body was found west of Adair, between the 74- and 75-mile markers of I-80 Westbound. It’s not clear whether the body was found on the shoulder of the interstate or on the traveled portion of the roadway. No other details are available at this time.
