Two residents of Quimby, in northwest Iowa, have been arrested for injuries to an infant. Cherokee County Sheriff’s officers say 25-year-old Cody Foster and 22-year-old Virginia Kelm have been charged after a child abuse investigation. Foster is charged with willful injury, child endangerment and domestic abuse assault. Kelm is facing a count of child endangerment.

Authorities allege a six week old infant was seriously injured in an incident on or around October 8. Department of Human Services staff and sheriff’s officers took the complaint early this morning.
