Unbeatens collide in class 2A district one as third ranked Sioux Center hosts number two Spirit Lake.

Sioux Center coach Tim Van Regenmorter says the Warriors need to hang on to the ball and chew up the clock. He says that can make their offense the best defense, but keeping Spirit Lake’s offense off the field.

Special teams could play a factor. Spirit Lake has five touchdowns via punt return or kickoff return this season and he says they have to do a good job of coverage.

Spirit Lake coach Josh Bolluytsays Sioux Center is a quality opponent all around and they will need to do a good job of tackling and limit yards after contact. He says Sioux Center is very physical in the running game and will take shots downfield in the passing game.

Bolluyt says the outcome will be decided by execution and he expects it to turn on which team responds the best in tough situations.
