Presidential candidates set up shop in Iowa

June 3, 1999 By admin

All but one of the candidates in the race for the Presidency have openedcampaign offices in Iowa.Arizona Senator John McCain has NO campaign staff or office in Iowa. Thatraises the possibility the former P-O-W will by-pass campaigning here, or heNOT run for the republican presidential nomination. Texas Governor GeorgeW. Bush has NOT campaigned in Iowa yet, but has an office and has hiredstaff. A problem, however, has cropped up for the son of former PresidentGeorge Bush. If you call directory assistance, they have no listing for theBush office phone number.
