Stars say interest abounds at Reed Festival

Organizers of the Donna Reed Festival in Denison say there has been adramatic increase in the number of apsiring actors taking part in workshopsthis week. Registration is up more than 800 from last year. Shelly Fabares,who co-starred in the “Donna Reed Show” and the hit sitcom “Coach” ispresident of the Donna Reed Foundation. She says about 40 Hollywoodprofessionals are in Denison to teach the workshops.Fabares says it has been fun to be part of the workshops.Paul Peterson played Jeff Stone on the “Donna Reed Show” and he saysinterest in the workshops is on the rise.More than 90 workshops are being offered this week.
