Central ready for run at Iowa Conference title

Central College will depend on a host of new faces to make another run atthe Iowa Conference football title this season. The Dutchmen lost 14starters from last year’s team that finished the regular season 10-0 butafter winning 11 of the last 15 conference crowns, Central figures to remaincompetitive.Central coach Rich Kacmarynski (kak-muh-rin-skee) says how quickly theteam comes together will determine its fate.Kacmarynski says the coaching staff will have to do a lot more teachingduring pre-season camp.Several of the other top contenders from last year suffered significantlosses so Kacmarynski says it could be a wide open race.
