Union County investigates bomb threats

Southwest Iowa authorities are investigating a bomb threat at East Union high school, as well as a Monday evening explosion at the home of a principal. Principal Steve Barber’s car was also vandalized last Friday.A second home-made bomb was found Tuesday afternoon on Highway 169 in the Afton area. Union County Sheriff John Colter is releasing few details of their investigation.
