Hawkeyes looking to stop losing skid

February 13, 2001 By admin

The Iowa Hawkeyes are looking for answers as they get set for Wednesday night’s Big Ten game at Michigan. The Hawkeyes have dropped their last two games, including a 69-61 loss at Northwestern on Saturday that dropped their Big Ten record to 6-4.Iowa coach Steve Alford says the Hawkeyes need to find a way to snap out of it. He says with Valentines week they need to “get that love’in feeling back.”Alford says the Hawks need to get tougher but also need a shot of confidence. He says it’s a fine line between getting confidence and getting tougher.
