Oskaloosa man awaits his fate

An Oskaloosa man accused of brutally beating his girlfriend’s son is now awaiting a verdict on his fate. Testimony was completed Wednesday in the Clarence Yoe Junior trial.Medical experts testified that the injuries received by Frank Charbenou Junior were not normal for a child. The prosecuting attorney told the judge the boy would never be normal again. The Defense attorney countered that prosecutors failed to link Yeo with the injuries suffered by the child. And, that the child’s mother was not a reliable witness.
