Gold card lets you play and help fight Cancer

Golf enthusiasts can help out a charity and get some great deals as well by purchasing the American Cancer Society’s 2002 Midwest Golf Pass. Spokeswoman Jennifer Lane says over 400 courses in Iowa and other states have signed up to take part.Lane says the Society has been offering this program for several years, and the cost of the pass is 35 dollars. You can 1-800-ACS-2345. .Lane says the deals offered depend upon the course, but you can get free or discounted rounds of golf to approximately 400 courses.Lane says golfers will save much more than the cost of the pass over the course of a summer. Lane says all the money raised goes to cancer research, education, advocacy and service.
