Iowa softball team looks to stay perfect

The Iowa softball team looks to remain unbeaten in the Big Ten tonight when the Hawkeyes host Ohio State. This game will match-up the top two hitting teams in the conference. Iowa coach Gayle Blevins says O-S-U is dramatically improved this year after finishing strong last year.Pitchers Kristi Hanks and Sarah Thomson are back from last year’s team and Blevins says freshman Lisa Birocci has become an added weapon to give them a three-pitcher combination.Blevins says three pitchers are a luxury when weekends feature four conference games.Iowa is 6-0 in the Big Ten.
