Accused murder turns himself in

An accused murderer is in custody in Davenport.20-year-old Colt Krana of Davenport turned himself in at the Scott CountyJail Tuesday night. He appeared in court Wednesday morning on an initial charge of first-degree murder and willful injury. Bond was set at $1 million. Krana, along with 16-year-old Joseph Hildebrant of Davenport, is accused of fatally beating 58-year-old Ronald Brinkley following an auto accident on Aug. 4. Hildebrant remains in jail in lieu of one million dollar bond.
