Sioux Center man accused of stealing from his church

March 20, 2003 By admin

A Sioux Center man who served as an officer of the Central Reformed Church of Sioux Center has been charged with taking more than 99-thousand dollars in church funds. The Sioux County Attorney says 41-year-old Keith Boone turned himself in Wednesday. Boone allegedly took the money between December of 1999 and August of last year while Boone served as treasurer of the church. Boone waived his preliminary hearing and was released on his own recognizance.
