Three members of a Minnesota flying club died when their single-engine plane went down in northeastern Delaware County Friday afternoon. Delaware County sheriff’s authorities say the plane crashed in a farm field east of Petersburg about four P.M. The three people in the plane were all dead at the scene. The plane came down near a powerline but that wasn’t the cause of the crash. All three occupants were reportedly members of the Morris Hancock Flying Club, based out of Morris, Minnesota. The crash remains under investigation.
