UNI baseball team looks to move up in final weeks

May 2, 2003 By admin

The Northern Iowa baseball team hopes to move up in the Missouri Valley Conference standings with the first of a four-game series against Bradley, tonight. At 9-11 in a crowded league race, coach Rick Heller says the Panthers have a chance to move up with three series left and they could finish anywhere from first to last. Heller says the pitching staff is a little banged-up this weekend. He says he’ll do a lot of juggling of the lineup and should be okay.
