Sioux Center library damaged by fire

The Sioux Center Public Library sustained extensive damage due to a fire early this morning. The Sioux Center Fire Department was call about 4:15 am, and Fire Chief Dave Van Holland says the building was totally engulfed when they arrived at the scene. No one was injured. The fire started in the front of the building, Van Holland says it has not been determined yet what caused the blaze, the State Fire Marshall is investigating.
