A-P-B meets D-N-H in football

Two teams that missed out on the playoffs last year collide on opening night as class 1A fourth-ranked Aplington-Parkersburg visits Dike-New Hartford. Falcons’ coach Ed Thomas says both teams will know after this game where they’re at. Justin Urbanek takes over as the new coach at Dike-New Hartford and says they face a challenge tonight. He says you have to respect them as they always give you a close game.
