Creston woman killed in car accident

April 17, 2007 By admin

A Creston woman was killed in a three-vehicle accident near Creston on Monday morning. The Iowa State Patrol says William Adams of Ankeny was traveling west on Highway 34 and Jacqueline Scadden of Creston was behind Adams and did not realize Adams was moving slowly and struck the rear of the vehicle.

Benjamin Oler of Lisbon was following Scadden and was not able to stop in time and rear-ended her vehicle smashing it and ultimately forcing it into the ditch. Scadden died as a result of the accident and Adams and Oler reportedly had no injuries.
