If you’ve always wanted to serve your community on a school board, now’s the time to get your paperwork in order. Iowans who are interested in being on a school board have until early next month to file the nomination petitions.

Those petitions are available at your local school administrative office. The last day to file the petitions is Thursday, August 2nd, at 5 P.M. The annual school board elections in Iowa will be held September 11th.
