The Central College men will be looking for a top ten finish this weekend at the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships at Wartburg College. The Dutch were ranked 10th in the final computer rankings and qualified four events for nationals.

“All of our guys are ranked in the top four or better in their respective events”, said Central coach Joe Dunham. “If they come and take care of business good things can happen but like anything it just kind of depends on the day.”

It will cap a surprising season that saw the Dutch win a second straight Iowa Conference championship and its sixth in eight years.

Central is the only school from the Iowa Conference featured in the top-25 and are the top team out of the Central Region. The national meet begins Thursday morning at Walston-Hoover Stadium in Waverly.
