Update: Missing Remsen woman calls in from Vermont

The Iowa Department of Public Safety says a missing Remsen woman has been found in Vermont.

Police say 27-year-old Nicole Ann Trometer  contacted them and said she was advised to go to the nearest Law Enforcement Agency and positively identify herself. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office in Vermont confirmed that they spoke with Trometer and she was in good health. They say she willingly traveled to Vermont.

The missing person’s investigation is now closed.
