The Ames teen who admitted to phoning-in two phony bomb threats to AmesHigh School last spring will NOT spend any time in jail. Sixteen-year-old Luke Anderson is on probation, must perform 100 hours ofcommunity service, and he must apologize to Ames High students and staff. Anderson was sentenced yesterday by Judge Peter Newell, who told theteenager that if he stays out of trouble, his record will be clear. AmesHigh was the target of eight threatening phone calls last year. School inAmes starts Monday.
