Parents of students at a northeastern Iowa high school can now check up on their kids’ grades and behavior — online. Don Sissler, principal at Wahlert High School in Dubuque, says the new website requires a password that only the parents know — so it’s secure.Sissler says students won’t be able to get into “Parent Connect-X-P” and do any deleting of notes about disciplinary action, nor can they change their grades or attendance records. He says only teachers can get on the website and make notations. Sissler says a “paperless” report card process is still a ways in the future. The new system went online this week. Wahlert has 817 students.
