The Northern Iowa baseball team is on the road at Western Illinois in non-conference action, today. Western has won only a handful of games but Panther coach Rick Heller says they have played a difficult schedule. He says they won the game last year, so they are a concern. Heller says even though it is a non-conference game it carries great significance. He says it helps their R-P-I rating for post season if they win.
